Safety Data Sheet (SDS)

 

CFR §170.305: SDS has the same meaning as the definition at 29 CFR 1900.1200(c). The SDS (formerly called a MSDS) is written or printed material concerning a hazardous chemical that is prepared by the manufacturer or the company importing the product describing the physical and chemical properties of the product according to specific guidelines.
