The Pesticide Educational Resources Collaborative - Medical (PERC-med) invites your ideas for new pesticide related educational resources/projects to serve the needs of healthcare providers across the country. Your ideas will be considered by the PERC-med Advisory Board. Projects could be related to:
Projects might include brochures, fact sheets, infographics, posters, videos, manuals, mobile apps or other online accessible tools, and/or other novel approaches to meet the pesticide education needs of healthcare providers. Such materials should aim to provide practical information to help healthcare providers to recognize, manage and treat pesticide-related illnesses and injuries. A curated set of resources are listed on our website.
Please submit your project idea(s) using this form no later than January 21, 2020 to have it considered by the PERC-med Advisory Board for the 2020 priority list. This is not a solicitation, but a gathering of input on resources that are needed by health care providers. After the PERC-med Advisory Board approves a project, a competitive process will be used to select the development team.
About PERC-med: PERC-med is funded by a 5-year cooperative agreement (#X-83935901) between the U.S. EPA and the University of California Davis Extension, in cooperation with Oregon State University. It supports the development of resources, technical assistance, and materials for healthcare providers to prevent, recognize and treat pesticide-related illnesses.
