What is PERC?

PERC is the Pesticide Educational Resources Collaborative, a 5-year cooperative agreement between the EPA’s Office of Pesticide Programs and University of California Davis Division of Continuing and Professional Education, in collaboration with Oregon State University.

Key Facts

We create educational resources related to pesticides to serve national needs. From worker protection to applicator exams, our products are used by trainers in states, tribes, and territories.

Meeting National Needs

PERC is currently funded from 2016-2026 to coordinate the development of pesticide-related educational resources (i.e., manuals, videos, guides) that meet national needs. See our list of projects, completed and in-progress.

Gathering Constant Feedback

The PERC Advisory Board meets annually to determine priority needs, and monthly to hear from representatives about emerging needs and to gather feedback about PERC products.

Made for Noncommercial Use

The materials produced by PERC are intended for use by non-profit educators. Anyone may print and distribute PERC materials at minimal or no cost to the end-recipients. Non-profit educators may request original files in order to modify PERC materials. See our policy on Using PERC's Works.

PERC-med

A sister project, PERC-med, complements the scope of PERC. This project creates pesticide-related outreach and educational materials for health-care providers, promoting the recognition, management, and treatment of pesticide poisoning.
